What Size Hoop to use
If your not Sure what size to use this can be worked out by standing with a tape measure in front of you and the general rule is that it should be between bellybutton and nipple height. Needless to say, the bigger you are, the bigger your hoop should be. Which is no bad thing, because larger hoops rotate more slowly than smaller ones, which makes it easier to get started. However, smaller hoops, though more challenging, are better for doing tricks and for exercising.
Why Heavy Weighted
weighted hoops can cause bruising
Using a weighted hoop over 2lbs for short periods helps build muscle tone and improves hooping with the lighter hoop.
More Higher Intence Workout
If you only have a short time and want to work up a sweat and still hoop they are great.
